Getting To Grips with Camera RAW
With Adobe Lightroom Classic,
Adobe Camera RAW and Adobe Photoshop CC
This is a 1-day intensive course for photographers who want to get the best out of their images.
We will start by editing a RAW image in Adobe Lightroom Classic and then apply the same adjustments in Adobe Camera RAW for a hands-on comparison between the two.
Saved in ‘DNG’ (digital negative) format, the image will then be opened in Adobe Photoshop where we’ll continue editing with Photoshop’s unique tools and methods.
These are 'super advanced' methods not normally taught in either the Intro or Advanced levels of the Photoshop course.
We’ll convert the image into a ‘smart object’ to enable flipping it back and forth between Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Camera RAW, and also between Photoshop and its own internal Camera RAW filter, gradually enhancing it at each step. Finally we’ll save it in formats suitable for web, print and video.
The course also covers the creation of panoramic and HDR images, the Content-Aware tools, generating and saving selections, applying non-destructive adjustments, sharpening with masks, special effects, calibration for print and a host of other essential image editing methods.
